Regulation for Online Poker Rooms
The UK government is to about to make a discussion about future regulation of online poker and gambling industry, such move, which had been foreseen by online gambling experts, would definitely boost this already successful money-rambling industry. The Department for Culture will request representatives from around the globe to this unique summit.
The talks are aimed at what the department describes as an "underbelly" of loose websites. Secretary of State for Culture, Media and Sport Tessa Jowell had strong words to say about the issue: "it's a global problem, and we need a global solution." Department spokesperson Anthony Wright prolonged further: "The reason we want to host these talks is because we think this is a thriving industry, but proper protection for kids and vulnerable people and good rules are simply not in place across the whole of the trade. Our approach is pretty much diverse compared to other countries around the world, for example the US, but it's a way of receiving politicians around the table of discussions."
This move on behalf of the British government is causing stokes to rise in the London Stocks Exchange, especially stokes of online poker companies. Maybe during this time next month all online poker rooms would be regulated by one universal internet gambling commission.
